Why is air polishing selected?
Air polishing is a process of using compressed air to spray powder and water on the tooth surface through air-polishing equipment to remove the attachments(such as bioflm,pigment,soft dirt,etc.) and polish the tooth susace.
Air polishing has become an indispensable tool for bioflm control in the new era.
Compared with traditional ultrasonic scaling,air polishing is more efficient and comfortable causing no scratch to the tooth surface,and is less likely to harm soft tissues,so as to reduce patient’s tenion.
The subgingival nozzle can be rotated 360︒ after installation.By adjusting different angles,it can clean the lingual side,labial side and adjacent space.Enable more comprehensive subgingival periodontal air polishing.
Pre-bendable subgingival nozzle design makes it easy to clear dead ends.
Subgingival nozzle with three directions for powder and one for water output,Minimum size is only 0.25mm.
Effective protection of tooth surface
The hardness of the air-polishing powder is much lower than that of the enamel. Therefore,our teeth can be protected better during cleaning,avoiding the tooth surface damage caused by excessive traditional scaling so as to improve the experience and compliance of customers.
